What to Pack for a Trip to Acadia National Park

If you’re used to summering in The Hampton’s or on Nantucket, the somewhat cooler temperatures on Mount Desert Island may take you by surprise, so be sure to pack some extra cotton sweaters and a windbreaker. Don’t worry about a lot of extra evening outfits, though. Even the best restaurants are casual. At one of my favorite “table cloth” restaurants, I recently noted that an elegant bandeau-clad fellow diner was wearing her hiking boots. Below is a list of items I’ve forgotten in the past.
